There are many beaut courses in the area and we’re happy to make recommendations and arrangements for you. For the keen golfers…we can arrange golf at Hyatt Coolum for $80/round including cart…it’s an experience worth having.
It’s just down the road and well worth a visit. If you’re staying for a week or more we recommend the 14 Day VIP pass that entitles you to unlimited visits during that time.
It’s the closest thing we have to a theme park on the Sunshine Coast and everyone who visits has a great time.
These leave from The Wharf adjacent to Underwater World and are a lovely way to look at the canals,the river and some rather special houses.
The most famous of our markets is the one at Eumundi which operates on Wed & Sat. Enjoyment of these is enhanced if you’re a well experienced shopper.
In addition there are fresh food markets at The Big Pineapple each Sat am and Fisherman’s Road Sun am.
Local arts & crafts can be purchased at Cotton Tree,Maroochydore, Sun am.
As well as the markets the experienced shopper will enjoy the variety on The Esplanade and the sheer bulk of shops at Sunshine Plaza and Kawana Shopping World.
At least one day can be spent touring the little villages in the Hinterland. There are plenty of shops, markets, a few wineries and cheese factories well worth the visit.
One delight not to be missed is ice cream at Colin James deli in the main street of Maleny.
There are lovely beach and point breaks in the area. If you’re a keen surfer you’ll know all about them.
If the kids want lessons there are a couple of really good surf schools here that we can recommend to you.
There are more fish caught by the commercial fleet that operates out of Mooloolaba that any other port on the eastern seaboard of Australia.
This doesn’t guarantee that you’ll catch fish here but there are a couple of options available to you.
Beach fishing, river fishing or charter boat fishing. Each are good fun and
often rewarding.
